This womans drawings make my eyes happy! Simple like that though her art is nothing but simple. They’re all in black and white and so detailed. The lines, style and beautiness is like nothing I’ve ever seen. The hairs are what stand out the most for me. Here are some of my favourites. Check her site to see many more.
Jason Mraz is just what I needed to give me gas, energy, positivity and encouragement to keep standing on to the things I believe it.
I knew his music for a long time ever since a dear friend of mine said ‘look how cute this guy and video are’ and gave me the link to watch ‘You and I Both’ on youtube. I usually don’t go looking for artists lives on internet so I knew his music but didn´t know anything about him. When I heard he was coming to make a show in my town (it made me feel special somehow cause nobody ever comes here!) I started looking for info on the web and found his twitter (I’m a twitter addict!) and his blog.
Reading his blog is like breathing fresh air. He talks about many things in a simple, unique way. He reflects about simple issues and his ideals are pretty similar to mine. You have to read to know what I’m trying to say here!
The show was last night and was the last show of The Gratitude Cafe Tour. It was awesome, the guy is amazing and he and the band sound perfect live. Imagine my happiness when I came home from the show to find that Jason posted a pic in this twitter of his last tour show. And guess who’s in the pic?!?! ME!
And you can see here the best moment of the night (in my opinion) – The Dynamo of Volition – with Jason’s little funny dances, crowd interaction, going crazy and losing his cap.
p.s: I’m almost on holidays! And this means I’ll blog much more soon!
p.s.2: I have orkut invites. Interested?
Now THAT was cool! It totally compensates from She Wolf’s video cause I didn´t like it much. I like that her work isn´t too much all the time like gaga we see nowadays. She’s so talented!
Please ignore the tag on the video. Every other link I found was unavailable to post elsewhere.
Did you notice the layout change? There are still a some things to do about it but it’s almost ready!
I’m weird. I like to know what other people carry on their bags. But apparently I’m not alone cause more than 16 thousand people share/sneak each others bag contents on Flickr. I’m talking about a pretty popular group on Flickr called What’s in your bag?. I can spend hours there! Here’s a picture of what was in my bag on July, 2008. It’s time to take a new picture already. Will do it soon :)
I finally have a blog! YAY! It´s not totally finished yet but it’s going and I can’t resist posting. I´ll use this place to write about my interests like fashion, graphic designer, cosmetics, books and movies reviews and anything else comes across a 22 year-old college student’s life. I hope you forgive any English mistakes I might make cause I’m still learning it and blogging is another excuse I found to practice it :).
This has been an eventful week. 1) Yesterday was my cousin’s wedding and the party was one of the best in my life (not that I have been to many o.O). 2) Writing my first blog post. 3) Family reunion tonight before my cousin and his wife go to Cancun on honeymoon. 3) Tomorrow is my mom’s birthday and I still ahve to buy something.
Lots to do lots to do. I hope you stick with me through this whole blogging new experience!
