Eu assisti o filme ‘Whip it’ dirigido pela Drew Barrymore nessas férias mais por causa da Ellen Page que por qualquer outra coisa. Com exceção das cenas de guerra de comida (ao estilo novela do Jorge Fernando super desnecessárias) achei o filmes bem legal. A Ellen brilhou como sempre com seu jeito esquisito e fofo ao mesmo tempo. O galã do filme tem um estilo meio indie, bem natural e que foge do comum para um filme norte-americano. As cenas de Roller Derby são super divertidas! Queria tanto assistir a esse esporte ao vivo. Pena que não é um esporte nada popular (por enquanto).

I’ve watched the film ‘Whip it’ during my vacations more because of Ellen page than for anything else. Except the unnecessary food fight scene the film was quite good. Ellen is outstanding with her weird cute ways. The leading man has an indie style, very natural and unusual for american films. The Roller Derby scenes are super fun! I really wished I could watch this sport live someday! Pity it isn’t popular at all here in Brazil (for now at least).

Desde então fiquei sabendo que a Drew está se aventurando atrás das cameras e me deparei com esse vídeo da banda Best Coast. Dentro da monotonia dos video clipes hoje esse com certeza se destaca. Preste atenção nos figurinos também que são incríveis e tenha um lencinho ao lado.

So when I came to know that Drew is having fun behind the cameras as well I found this video directed for the band Best Coast. This one is definitely a highlight among the boring music video scenario. Pay attention to the outfits and have a handkerchief in hand.
