A film to love and a film to hate

I’ll start writing about the films I watch and share my opinion about it.

Julie and Julia

Much to say about this film! It is lovely! The main message for me is about how people who don’t know what to do with their lives find strength in themselves to better up their situation.
This film added so much positivity to me! The story about never being late to find new stuff to do and to make it work, the blog saga, the discipline needed to complete a project and etc.
I must say I don’t love Meryl Streep but she was brilliant this time! One of the best characters of all of the films I’ve watched. She has the Oscar in my opinion! And Amy Adams was really good also!

So I totally recommend it, it’s light, it’s funny, it’s has sad moments and above all a great message!

Inglorious Basterds

Now this comment ain’t going to be a long cause there isn’t much to say about this film. If you don’t like violence, if you just had lunch or if you simply don’t want to waste your time I suggest that you don’t watch this film. Quentin Tarantino’s work is really not the kind of work that entertains me. In my opinion this one along with Kill Bill are the worst films I’ve watched so far. It adds nothing to me. I’ve watched violent, gross films before but at least I could get a message from them. Unfortunately (or fortunately) Tarantino does not give me any message, any conclusion, he does not teach me anything and the only thing it added to me is that I shouldn’t watch his films anymore.
If this wins an Oscar over Avatar or any other film I’ll be very upset.

Sorry for those of you who like this film and Tarantino’s work. I know he has many admires. This is just my opinion and I don’t want to be mean.

Are you hungry?

No matter what and how much I eat I still feel hungry today! Mum says it happens when we see something we want to eat somewhere and go away. That leaves our bodies with the desire to eat that thing even though our heads can even remember what it is. I guess she is right. She usually is. And those photos keep stalking me on internet!

Being a girl is good! Did you notice how many options we have to play with our outfits everyday?! It’s very clear this girl had a lot of fun playing with this outfit. And I think it really flatters her body. I want it. Period.

Highlights of the week

Yesterday was the first day of my last semester at uni and it was quite normal. The students are the same so are the teachers. There are two teachers I really like and they’ll teach my favourite subjects :)! Both on Wednesday and because of that Wednesdays will be the most pleasant day of the week this semester.
On other news I didn’t feel very well yesterday by the afternoon and I had to go to the hospital. Really weird cause my health is usually very good and I never had to go to the hospital before.
Next I’ll give you some highlights of these past few days…

… buses are on a strike on my city since yesterday. Almost everyone couldn’t go to work, class and etc. The city is on caos!
… Paramore’s ‘The Only Exception‘ video is their best video! I loved the song before now, I love it even more!
… I really like Robert Pattinson but this thing scares the hell out of me!
… remember I showed you Beyoncé, Madonna, Britney Spears, The Beatles and etc as Na’vis? Well here’s the golden trio as the blue creatures. I think they turned out awesome!
… mum bought a desk for me bedroom and that means almost total bedroom make over! It came in a good time cause my bedroom really needs of some changes. I can’t wait till it’s here! It will hopefully be here this week.

Last day of my two month vacation

Hello everyone!

I don’t know if you noticed but I had to change my layout cause I realised the previous one had serious problems to open correctly on Internet Explorer. I still don’t know if this layout works cause I can’t open my blog at all when I use my IE. So give some feedback about the layout please?

On other news I’m writing this in the melancholy of my last vacation day (a two month vacation - the longest and he est vacation ever!). What a drama you must be thinking hehehe! I was half sarcastic half truth cause my college suffocate its students with the huge amount of work extra class plus this is my last semester in the classroom and I have to make my final graduation assignment. My graduating will depend on its quality.

So I just have to hang on the things that make me happy in among all of this and I should be fine. This blog and you are on the Top #5 of those things did you know? Yeah blogging is therapy!

Hair, hair, hair…

I have decided to grow my hair. That decision goes against my mum who hates when my hair is long and goes against reality cause I have oily hair so I have to wash it practically every single day. At certain seasons when it’s cold and I have to wash my hair everyday I end up getting sick constantly. That theory isn’t confirmed though and I might just try it again. Wouldn’t you want to grow your hair too after seeing these?

Today’s wish

I haven’t been n love with an outfit like I am with this one for a long while. This girl is 14 years old and has an impeccable sense of style! I’ll tell you when I was 14 I still dressed like a kid (ooops I still do it sometimes hehehe!)! I found her because of this look but all her looks are amazing and her blog is pure inspiration! Ultra precocious but beautiful.
