Assim que vi uma foto dessa novidade achei que era um produto similar ao iPod Nano (aquele quadradinho sabe?). Acontece que esse bloquinhos são interativos e possibilitam jogar uns games bem interessantes! Isso acontece porque o Sifteo tem conexão wireless e a medida que você troca as peças de lugar elas interagem entre si e alteram o jogo. Dá uma olhada!

The minute I saw this I thought it was a product similar to the new iPod Nano. The thing is these little cubes are interactive and enable you to play some interesting games! This happens cause Sifteo piece has a wireless connection and it changes as you switch the order of the pieces. Take a look at the video!

The young designer Daniel Reese takes the ordinary Nike shoes and transform it into cool unique pieces using themes like games, web, music, movies and etc.  They’re kind of pricey ($260) but it’s worth if you have the money. Needless to say I want it all (except for the Kill Bill shoes cause I hate the movie with all I have). You can find many more on his site.

The want, want, want of today is the movie Beastly! I’m not around the net as much as I’d like so feel like I’m late on everything. I haven’t heard about this movie and I saw that trailer by accident so imagine my surprise seeing Alex Pettyfer, Vanessa Hudgens and Mary-Kate Olsen all together?!

At first I thought the story was kind of silly but the trailer made it seem well made. I wonder if the Twilight wave will open the way to good movies. With Harry Potter coming to an end only Lord knows what we’ll do (nothing compares to HP but we need something to love)!

Seems like Vanessa Hudgens will finally have a chance to show her talent then cause in High School Musical she played herself in a pitiful manner. I’m more anxious too see Mary-Kate because she will play a very interesting part. And because she’s pretty of course. No need to say how anxious I am to see Alex Pettyfer right?!

Do you think the Twilight wave will open the way to good movies or just crappy stuff?

I want to live in another country. It’s not that I don’t like Brazil. Living here is great cause the people are great, the food is great, the language is great, the nature over here is breathtakingly beautiful.  But it’s too hard living in a place where you see closely the beautiful things in life being destroyed. In a place where you have to pay to be able to see pretty places and nature and where 90% of the jobs aren’t valued as they should. There are too many cars, buses, outdoors, homeless people, corrupt politicians, robbers, drugs, etc.

I know there’s a bit of that in practically everywhere but I certainly want to live somewhere this is not as evident as here. Or somewhere I actually see people battling against it and can join them.

ride everywhere on bicycles

I want to ride around the city on bicycles and I want to go to parks and lie on the grass without having to be alert and aware of my surroundings 24/7. I want to go walk my dog and go out without the constant worry of being robbed. I want to sit on cafes on a Thursday nights, I want to be next to nature more, breath fresh air, I want to see fashion on the streets, a job with a fair pay check, live with people that respect my eating habits and I want to have more than zero options of places to eat vegetarian food and I want to have better opportunities.

Is it like that where you live?
